Designed for both student and experienced pianists and keyboard players alike, the upright-style Medeli DP740K digital piano exceeds the limits of most digital models by doing far more than supplying just a couple of piano sounds, a harpsichord, a few organs and a vibraphone. While it could neatly slot in a corner of the living room, this piano is home to a massive bank of 1,200 different sounds and 270 different rhythms. And, while the breadth of functionality is what you'd expect from a high-spec keyboard, the DP740K looks and feels nothing like one. The acoustic-style cabinet has been fitted with a set of keys equipped with extra sensors to raise the feel of the keystrokes to a far more realistic level.
